About the artist
Stefano, a master leather artisan from Florence, Italy, has dedicated his life to mastering the art of leatherworking. Born in the early 1950s, Stefano's hands-on approach to life led him to explore various manual crafts. His passion for leatherwork ignited during his travels through Central and South America, where he was captivated by the versatility and durability of leather.
In the 1980s, Stefano returned to Italy, where he refined his craft in traditional saddlery and began designing his own unique leather creations. Known for his exceptional leather goods, Stefano specializes in crafting functional yet artistic leather products, including travel accessories and hiking gear. Today, his work reflects a perfect blend of craftsmanship and creativity, making each piece a functional work of art.
