Spoon Carving Workshop

Description
Discover the art of woodcarving in a hands-on group workshop in Dinas Powys.
Learn how to safely carve a spoon using a hook knife and straight knife. We will consider the importance of grain alignment, learn a range of knife grips and discuss where to source suitable tools and materials. Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided. You will leave with a finished spoon and the initial skills needed to continue your spoon carving journey at home at your own pace.
A minimum of 4 people are required for each workshop to go ahead. Maximum group size is 8.
